FoodSaver Tip: Vacuum Sealing Foods with Liquid

If there was any liquid in my FoodSaver back before I went to vacuum seal it I found that the FoodSaver would suck the liquid right out of the bag, sometimes preventing it from sealing!

I went through some trial and error and eventually figured out that you can put a folded paper towel in the top of your FoodSaver vacuum bag before you seal it. That way the paper towel will soak up any liquid that is trying to escape, keeping your machine clean and letting the bag seal properly!

Now you can store juicy foods with your FoodSaver Vacuum just like I can!

Note, this doesn't work if there is LOTS of liquid, you should use a FoodSaver canister or FoodSaver jar instead.
